Community Comes Together: Raising $4,425 for Project Venture
As we officially wrap up our fundraising efforts for Project Venture, we are incredibly grateful and excited to share that, together with the support of our amazing customers, dedicated staff, and community members, we raised a total of $4,425 in support of their impactful programming.
This fundraising effort took place throughout March and April across our Gallup and Albuquerque store locations, where customers and staff alike came together to support a cause that means so much to us. From generous donations to enthusiastic raffle participation, the support we received over the course of these two months was truly inspiring. Every contribution—big or small—helped us move closer to our goal and served as a reminder of the power of community coming together for a meaningful cause.
What began in March as an in-store fundraising effort quickly grew into something even larger. In April, our Mail Order Department enthusiastically jumped on board to help support the fundraiser, bringing even more momentum and excitement to the campaign. Their involvement helped boost our fundraising numbers significantly and expanded the reach of our efforts beyond our store locations. We are incredibly grateful for their willingness to step in, support the mission, and help make an even greater impact.
At the heart of this fundraiser is Project Venture and the important work they continue to do for Indigenous youth and communities. Their team has developed a proven and effective program that focuses on building resilience, developing leadership skills, promoting healthy decision-making, and reinforcing cultural identity and traditional wisdom. Through mentorship, outdoor experiential learning, and community engagement, Project Venture continues to create meaningful opportunities that empower youth and strengthen futures.
Their mission deeply resonates with us, and we are honored to support an organization that is so committed to uplifting and empowering the next generation. The dedication and passion shown by the Project Venture team continue to inspire us, and we are proud to contribute to work that creates such a positive and lasting impact.
This fundraiser also highlighted the incredible generosity of our customers and surrounding communities. Throughout March and April, we saw so many individuals step forward to support the cause in any way they could—whether through raffle participation, donations, sharing information about the fundraiser, or simply offering words of encouragement. Every act of support mattered, and together, those efforts added up to something truly meaningful.

Their enthusiasm, organization, and commitment played a huge role in keeping the fundraiser running smoothly and engaging our communities throughout the campaign.
