Meet the Artist: Timm Lewis — Silversmith, Creator, and Valued Member of the Thunderbird Family
At Thunderbird Supply, one of our greatest joys is getting to know the artists who walk through our doors and bring our tools and materials to life. For this month, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Timm Lewis, a talented silversmith, a familiar face at our Gallup store location, and by his own nature, a bit shy, but always kind and loyal. 🙌
Timm has been shopping with Thunderbird Supply for many years, and during that time, he’s become a true part of the Thunderbird family. Whether he’s stopping in to pick up supplies, chat with staff, or quietly browse for inspiration, his presence is always appreciated. Artists like Timm remind us why we do what we do, supporting creativity, craftsmanship, and the deep connection between maker and material.
In the featured image, Timm showcases work created using one of our composite Dahlia blocks, which he skillfully used to form his stones. Those stones then became the foundation for his striking rings and pendants, each piece reflecting his unique artistic voice. The results are nothing short of stunning.
